They put a very powerful Republican on the international screen. In everyone’s living room, on every newspaper, every billboard, milk cartons, radio stations – but no one noticed the ploy because it was a woman from a state that few people know is a powerhouse: Alaska was in charge on Military Appropriations for a very long time (that’s pretty much all the billions in military spending) and a ton other spending committees. Missile defense spending? Alaska controlled it.
Now Alaska is popular. People don’t realize it’s not a hippy greenpeace nature lovers area. Oh yea, they love the environment, but there’s just so damn much of it, they prefer the money. And yes, they get money. Alaska is such a wealthy state they PAY THEIR RESIDENTS A CHECK EVERY YEAR. You get that? There’s so much revenue from the oil, they gave every man, woman, and child a check for over $2,000 last year. Single mother with 5 kids? total checks over $12,000 just for being alive every year.
Alaska has so much money, there’s no income or sales tax. That’s right, only a few states have no income tax but Alaska actually has no SALES tax mandated either. 99 Pennies will buy that 99 cent pack of gum.
They have so much money, the school system is top-of-the-line. While I lived there, they tore down a brand new 5 million dollar, just opened high school gym and quickly spent another 7 million making a new one because, well, they just didn’t like the other one. Both gyms were built in a span of 1.5 years combined.
They have so much money, anyone registered as an Alaskan Native Indian get at least $15,000/yr in ‘we’re sorry’ money. Some tribes get up to $40k/person/yr, depending on how their Native Corp is structured with investments. Drunk as an indian is a very real item of life in Anchorage. They issue coupon books of miniature checks of pre-printed amounts and we treat them like cash because the local banks accept them. Guy ordered a $10 dollar pizza, paid with a $100 coupon, he gets $90 back in cash change.
Now Alaska is going to see about a doubling in tourism revenue. That’s local revenue made by local businesses, not outsider-owned factories (not that AK really has any). Although Alaska has been in charge of some of the most powerful spending in the US Senate, nobody but other Senators really paid much attention.
Now, everyone has this warm-fuzzy about Alaska but doesn’t realize everyone in the state is all about missile defense plans, drilling the hell out of ANWAR for oil, diamond mining in the Arctic, legalizing weed (which grows in abundance outside Wasilla), carrying so many guns they decided no-one needs any bullshit permit to carry concealed and loaded, gutting the hell out of the unseen forests for logging, increasing fishing while kicking the hell out of Russian and Japanese fleets from our waters, clubbing seals, all that good profit making shit!
By putting Palin on the VP slot, they have shown that the Republican party is breaking from the good-ole-boy image. They used Alaska’s relative un-familiarity to show that Republicans are willing to select from a state that everyone though was un-inhabited and frozen.

But there was a hitch, the black dude and white woman were opposing each other with potentially the same pre-disposed voters. It would have torn up the party enough to give McCain a chance of winning….. So she dropped out, knowing full well that the black guy would have a better chance of winning than she did, (with the secret promise of getting appointed to Secretary of State, the most powerful position in the US Government).
When reading these next lines, keep in mind that the majority of voters, the great unwashed masses, only have a high-school education. More voters deliver pizza for a living than are doctors or lawyers.
It doesn’t matter about the race of the woman, there’s just tons of people out there hating white males. Just about as many that don’t really care how good someone is, they just want a female because somewhere deep inside, they hate men. White and black women would both rather have a chica in office than a white dude.

It doesn’t matter that its a guy simply because he’s black. I have not met a single black person that didn’t vote for him – I have, however, heard from many that don’t have a clue what he’s actually about. A black guy is better than a white woman, they weren’t even considered human until recently! White omen were allowed to get educations and own businesses and vote eventually, but blacks weren’t even allowed to shop in the same store.

Of course, the flaw in there is that discrimination had been the other way for about 20 years now. Minority companies will almost always win the government contracts before white-guy companies; it’s a law. Minorities, by various laws, are offered tax-payer funded grants for all sorts of business and personal reasons – that never have to be paid back.
People have proven they all believe themselves to be oppressed as blacks and other minorities. Odd, considering Obama’s family was never enslaved or whipped or discriminated against. He’s black/white mix, but look mostly black. Somehow, they’re latching onto him “to save our people against the MAN” but nothing in Obamas heritage was ever painful. The truth? While they might not be consciously racist, they prove some racism by supporting a person based on his skin color, a person that has never had anything in common with most black Americans.
Obama also has a link to the middle eastern community that has been silently supporting his election simply because he is guaranteed to have sympathy for his fathers heritage, albeit small.
Foreign nations and multi-national companies support the hell out of him because he’s all about a “one world order” that gives global control to crappy nations that seem to think their only export (poverty and breeding) gives them a right to vote in the UN.:
That pretty much includes most of the world that’s crappy when compared beside the USA, so of course all those foreign interests will support Obama. If you’re nice to India, Pakistan, and the Philippines – then the American companies that hire insane number of them in outsourcing call-centers, well, those companies are surely going to donate a good chunk of change.
In closing it’s easy to see that Obama was the one to win this election. Sorry Hilary, it wasn’t your time. If there had been a black female running for office, I would have put every last dime in a bookies hand saying she’d win.
