In a single statement, they report knowing enough about prostitutes on Boracay that none are foreign, but also saying they’ve not arrested all of them.
“The Boracay Special Tourists Police Office (BSTPO) has not received any official report of the existence of foreign sex workers in the resort island.
The Boracay PNP has already charged more than hundreds of men and women since it started its campaign against prostitution early this year.
Majority of those charged admitted working as sex workers. “Some of those whom we arrested have been already charged of the same cases at the Aklan Provincial Prosecutors Office but they still go on with their work,” said Ibanez.”
