You gotta be kidding me, the electricity went out yesterday at 9pm and guess what, …. it’s still out then next day at 4:27pm. That’s 19 solid hours of brownout on Boracay, again. Are they telling anyone? Nope. Excuses? Nope. And now we’re in the pre-Peak Season where the rates dipped a little before Easter season (super peak) so the island is fairly full of tourists.
But my problem is that I had to open the patio door last nite for airflow. Couldn’t sleep because of the mosquitoes, and the morning light showed little red bites where no man should have wildlife touching him. In a country where mosquito bites cause actual deaths every year, it’s surprising that window screens haven’t caught on yet.
