Bored on Boracay
Everyone else went to Manila for a short vacation of hanging out with friends and generally doing the upscale ‘thang in the Makati district. As much as I would have loved it (because I generally only find the scummier areas) I couldn’t go for a few reasons. Had I know about it more in advance, it would not have been a problem and honestly, for the price of these plane tickets I would want to spend more than 3 nights there. It’s not exactly the easiest traveling to/from Boracay.
The irony is that I rarely go hang out with them or even get off the hill much any more…now that everyone is gone, man, it’s really quiet around here. I even had to kick ole’ girl out since she was starting to do the ‘use the gringo’ mentality. Sorry, I might be in need of simple company but I’m not some low-self esteem sad sack.
Bored, bored, bored. I guess I’ll turn in some assignments today and work on this site a bit more. I never have trouble getting engrossed in tracing .php code. And drink whilst doing it…of course.
