Here’s another Korean dead from swimming on Boracay. There have been a lot over the past few years and it makes ya’ wonder why its usually with snorkel gear. This one even says he was floating with the snorkel still inserted. People, I’ve gone to sleep while snorkeling and floated until the backs of my [...]

Zhang drowned while snorkeling at Sitio Tambisaan, Barangay Manoc Manoc, Boracay Island. That beach has a really good snorkeling area but like all things in the Philippines, if people like it then somebody [...]

Electric company didn’t even know about it until people started calling them; then claimed a few hours later than nothing was wrong. Weather on Boracay – The coolness finally broke and the sun came [...]

I was sitting in Cocolocos yesterday evening (Boracay, not the resort island) and friend comes over telling how his illness cleared up and he could go diving again, unlike myself. Then he says that out near Virgin Drop, him and the shop manager/instructor of Blue Mango diveshop saw a dolphin just under 2 meters long [...]

Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch…. I was doing much better this morning but now I almost wish I could hurl. Some salty soup didnt do the trick like it should have. Some pickle juice had me feeling better for a while and the body was responsive too but that was short lived. It didnt help [...]

Boracay is slammed with brown-outs, poor water, and horribly humid weather.

Civilized business – no one in a gas station or market in the US will raise the price on you just because you’re a certain race. I really miss self-checkout in Wal-Marts. Its interesting how we consider the US to have some scummy people all over, but even in walmart, they let you scan your [...]
